Located in Townsend, Tennessee at the foot of the majestic Smoky Mtns, Sister Cats has an atmosphere reminiscent of general stores of olden days and offers meals made from scratch by owners, Joyce Creek and Connie Millar.
Entrees of grilled chicken salad, spinach quiche' or artichoke frittatas are served daily and include mandarin muffins completewith marmalade butter. Guests can accompany the meal with soft drinks, mint iced tea or Sister Cats' own blend of freshly roasted coffee. Homemade desserts including coconut cake, blueberry cream pie, scones or Russian tea cakes, provide the finishing touch. The gift shop is filled with antiques, artwork and crafts by local artisians. The cafe' is open 10am-5pm, Mon-Sat.
Sister Cats is located in Nawger Nob, at the end of the line of shops near the "Pickin Porch" and is open 10am-3pm Monday through Saturday. Reservations are not required but are recommended for parties of several people.
